Data received from SQA has shown that all Scottish National Certificates at SCQF Level 6 award 72 SCQF Credits, with the exception of “Theatre Design: Set, Costume and Props - An Introduction (GM40 46)” and “Zoo Animal Care, Behaviour and Welfare (GV12 46)”, which award 12 SCQF Credits each.
In terms of Tariff points, all Scottish National Certificates awarding 72 SCQF Credits receive 56 Tariff points, and the two exceptions listed about receive 14 Tariff points.
Previously, the Tariff divided Scottish National Certificates into Band A (56 Tariff points), Band B (42 Tariff points) and Band C (28 Tariff points).
